ATEPA presents on its website Forschungsinstitut für Wärmeschutz e.V. studies show that after 28 years the polyurethane sheets remain functional.¨ The tests showed that, after 28 years in use, the polyurethane sheet was fully functional and had all the benefits and values originally reported. The sample showed no changes, just some dust and traces of moisture in the edges. This gives product specifiers, architects, engineers and owners a valuable guarantee regarding the long-term behaviour of polyurethane insulation products in buildings and allows a more complete estimate of the future energy demand of buildings. ¨
