Solid wheels with Plasfill

The Plasfill system is a two-component polyurethane system for filling tyres in place of air.

A polyol component, formulated for its reaction with an isocyanate component, produces rigid polyurethane foam using an injection system that on mixing turns into a solid and hardwearing elastomer. Hardening within the tyre takes place after 36 hours, giving a significant improvement to its traction and useful life.

The product is especially suitable for industrial vehicles working in difficult conditions where punctures, tears and blow-outs are frequent occurrences. Among its many advantages are the elimination of vehicle idle-time, the avoidance of punctures, breakdowns and maintenance as well as improved road-holding, traction and stability.
